This ministry is a combination of Divine Word of Truth (www.divinewordoftruth.com ) located at 1071 Nostrand Ave (bet. Lincoln Rd & Lefferts Ave) where my dad, Pastor Derrick Allen is the pastor and Bethany Deliverance located at 257 Rogers Ave (bet. Carrol & President St) where Pastor Cecil Durrant is the overseer pastor.  Myself and Michelle Boucher were members of Trinity Apostolic Church, where Pastor Olive is the pastor.   We use to dance at Trinity and decided that we should continue in the ministry of dance even though we attend different churches.  Most of the original members of Unity went to Trinity, so we were already a family, as time went by like any ministry, any group of friends, you lose some, you gain some, only the faithful sticks around.  Last year we had our 6th Annual Unity Dance Fest @ Paul Robeson HS (my High School), next year we'll be hosting our 7th Annual Dance Fest on April 16th 2011. 

We work well together, we all have bad days, but through these six years God has been good.  A songwriter said, "I don't care what church you belong to, just as long as for heaven you stand, so today if you heart is like my heart, you're my brother so give me your hand".   We are very thankful for Ms. Letitia Ingram-Brown and the Robeson family.  We could go looking all over Brooklyn for a place to host Dance Fest, but thank God for good and willing people, where we can have this program year after year.
